Sounds of a Land Left Behind: The Queer & Trans Immigration Experience

DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS:

Click the download button. Game will download as a zip file. Click on the zip file to expand it. An icon will a character on a light blue background will appear. Click on the app icon to start.

DOWNLOADING ON MAC:

If you download on map, you may have an error message that says 'macOS cannot verify if this app of free of malware.'  The game is free of malware!

Here are the steps to bypass this error:

 1. Download the game as instructed above. Make sure the file you download ends in 'mac.zip'

2. Once you have the app icon on your computer, move the file to your desktop.  

3. Open system settings and click on 'Security & Privacy.'

4. Click on the unlock icon to unlock privacy settings. You will be asked for your password or touch ID to do so.   [If you do not have an unlock icon, this step can be skipped] 

5.  Make sure the setting "App Store and Identified Developers" is turned on and click the button that says 'Open anyway.'

If there are any future issues, you can click the question mark icon on your computer. Google will also have some further answers for you.

DOWNLOAD ON WINDOWS:

1. Download the file that ends in 'pc.zip'

2. Open the file titled 'SoundsofaLandLeftBehind-1.0-pc'

3. There will be many files under it but one is titled 'SoundsofaLandLeftBehind' with no additional letters. The file type is 'Application' - Open this file and 'Extract All'

4. If this game is compatible with your device,  a new file folder with the same title should appear in your downloads. Click on the file 'SoundsofaLandLeftBehind' with no additional letters. The file type is 'Application' and the game will open,
